Korea-Japan Science Forum
This forum contributes to the promotion of international academic activities undertaken by NAS members. By presenting and discussing research results over topics selected by the two academies, the forum achieves the purpose of promoting academic exchange and enhancing the relationship between the NAS and the Japan Academy.
History
Signed an academic exchange agreement with the Japan Academy on November 5, 1998.
Annual exchange of visits between the NAS and the Japan Academy since 1999.
Held the First Korea-Japan Science Forum in 2006.
Date: Three days in September, every year
Date: 4~ 6th September (for three days)
Venue: The Japan Academy (The forum is held in Korea and Japan alternately)
Participants: NAS members, Japan Academy members
